Lope De Vega was a high-class 

racehorse and is proving to be one of 

the best stallions in the world. 

Crystal Guard is out of a very well 

bred unraced mare that is from a 

very good family.

He improved a lot .through the winter and won 2 races from 5 starts.

SPANISH HUSTLE  

5 Year old gelding  By Pearl Secret (GB) (6.3f) Dam: Dos Lunas (IRE) Dam's Sire: Galileo (IRE) (11.2f)

The Five-year-old son of Pearl Secret was 

lightly raced for previous connections but nonetheless showed promise on numerous occasions.  Being out of a 

Galileo mare and a sibling of a 4 time 

winning jumper over hurdles and fences.  

His   pedigree is one of genuine quality, as 

his dam   Dos Lunas is a sibling of the 

Listed-winner Berkarar, and the Grp-1

 winners Magical, Rhododendron, Photo 

Call and Cross Counter are all near 

relations.  

He won at Brighton in October 2021 

at 66/1. We did have a bet on him 

that day .  Since then  he has had a few 

starts on the flat and over hurdles and 

is very well handicapped on the flat and

over hurdles. 

Froget about his form since he moved to Scotland.

He's a lot better than his form suggests. and 

we expect him to improve bundles on 

the Flat in 2023 and over hurdles 

following a wind operation in  January. It 

was  the same operation that Shine On 

Brendan got before he moved to Jim Goldie e

arly last year. and he won five races for us!

ZUMAATY - 

5 year old Gelding by Tamayuz   Dam:Blackangelheart (IRE) Dam's Sire:Danehill Dancer (IRE)

Zumaaty had solid form 2021 in 

April & May and we bought him in July 

2021 at Newmarket sales. He was given

 a break after purchase because he had 

5 very quick runs and was gelded after 

his 3rd start. 

His 2021 form was over 1 mile 

and the races have worked out well. 

After a few runs over the wrong

trip in winter 21/22 and more rest to 

strengthen up, he's now a very well handicapped horse 

and following a great 2nd and 3rd at Ayr and 2nd 

at Hamilton he bolted up at Ayr in 

October and won with plenty in hand.   

He also had a solid winter with 1 win, a nose 2nd

and a couple of unlucky runs from 4 starts. He goes on any ground

and is expected to win more races this year.
